6082 aluminium sheet belongs to the 6000 series(Al-Mg-Si) aluminum alloy plate. It is also a heat-treatable reinforced aluminum plate with medium strength, good welding performance and corrosion resistance. It is mainly used in transportation and structural engineering industries. We have another 6000-series aluminum sheet-6061 aluminum sheet.
6082 and 6061 aluminum plate are both Al-Mg-Si aluminum alloy which can be strengthened by aging treatment, with good extrusion and forging properties, and good anodizing properties.
